Redhead of the week: Rihanna

Rihanna was a redhead briefly in 2010 and 2011. Her bright red color left a big impact on me, not only because it was a perfect bright shade of red, but also because it's not easy to be a decided redhead and especially if your hair is naturally dark. Unlike other dolls with dye, Rihanna totally changed the way she dressed with red hair, she started using more black, grey and muted colors, very unusual for the queen of crazy outfits and even crazier color combinations. Very bright shade of red also goes well with other bright shades, such as royal blue or yellow. Because RiRi's natural coloring is very dark, she didn't utilize the "traditional" redhead colors very much, there is almost no evidence of red headed Rihanna in peach, emerald green, purple or other jewel tones.

So let's look at Rihanna as a redhead. Which colors was she wearing the most?

Every decided redhead is a different color type, and she needs to decide which colors to wear and which not. RiRi decided that black is the most flattering and she was right. However, it is not a solution for every redhead, especially the paler types. But if you even remotely look like Rihanna (I do not, haha), I say go for it! But don't forget other colors to match.
